It's A Little Blue

Some logos I did for a company. They wanted logos for inter-office memos and this is what I did. Thought I'd add the sketches as well to show how it changed after getting notes and all that.

The first sketches were just random ideas. They didn't really have anything in mind so I just did some different poses and stuff. Then they picked the leaning one and wanted to add in the iPad stuff as well. The idea for the shirt and hat and glasses came from them.

After that they came back with more specific ideas. That one went a bit quicker because the brief was more detailed. There were still some changes that had to be made but they were tiny little things here and there.

I think my favourite moment was when they said "It....doesn't look like a swan." and I said "These aren't the finished drawings. "

So all in all I've learnt it isn't easy to make a wing as functional as a hand.
